‘Adam Lambert: out, Loud and Proud’

ITV got in touch as they were looking to do a three camera interview with multi-platinum singer and Queen Frontman, Adam Lambert for his documentary ‘adam lambert: out loud and proud’, now streaming on Apple +

Adam interviewed actress/ singer Michaela Jaé Rodriguez about her work and the ongoing struggles of the trans community.

We also shot a master interview with adam, some pick up’s and b roll of adam at his los angeles home.

The request came through last minute as Adam's schedule suddenly opened up. with a vast array of talented crew and equipment filmcrewinusa.com was on hand to help.      

Producer/ Director Pete Grant jumped on a red eye flight from the UK and filmcrewinusa.com team prepared the equipment. the team consisted of founder DOP Harvey Glen, Camera Operator Luca Turner and Sound Recordist Markus Rapp. 

As it turned out Pete and Harvey had worked together many years ago on celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and Jimmy Doherty ‘Jamie and Jimmy’s Friday night feast’, shot across the uk.

2x Sony Fx9 and 1x Sony Fx6 cameras were deployed along with a full LED lighting package and Grip van to ensure the talent were lit beautifully and within the productions budget.

It was a incredibly fun day, adam and michaela were both wonderful, kind and incredibly gracious to work with.
